Our Aims
Supporting Families, Making Memories
Provide Support
During the early stages of a bereavement, it can be difficult to know what to do. Our aim is to provide as much support as possible to grieving families so that they don't feel alone during these times. The information provided in our memory boxes will aim to assist with funeral planning & financial support as well as acsess continued support.
Make Memories
The contents of our memory boxes will provide families with precious keepsakes that will enable them to create and keep cherished memories with their loved ones. These small tokens can play a huge part to ensure that the memories you have created, live on. We will aim to provide these keepsakes to families who won't have the time to think about doing this during emotional times.
Raise Awareness
One main aim of The Phoebe Hoskin Trust is to raise awareness of leukodystrophies in children. As the majority of these conditions are genetic, we feel it is important to not only raise awareness for families post diagnosis, but also before. This will hopefully bring more support for families who have children born with life-limiting diseases.
